Drivetrain

The full-time shaft-driven 4-wheel-drive system is designed for performance in off-road conditions. It features large six-millimeter stub axles, steel front CV driveshafts, and hardened steel rear axle shafts, ensuring strength and reliability under any terrain. The system includes remote-locking steel gear differentials (T-Lock) with cable actuation, allowing for traction adjustments. The steel-geared transfer case enhances power distribution, while portal axles provide multiple benefits, including increased ground clearance, eliminating torque twist for better stability, and optimizing axle geometry that reduces strain on the driveshafts. With steel gears throughout, the drivetrain is engineered for durability, ensuring long-lasting performance in extreme terrains.

2-Speed Transmission

The two-speed high/low range transmission with remote shifting allows for seamless transitions between high speed and low torque settings. Its design incorporates dual horizontal shafts for balanced power transfer and durability. A twin-friction plate slipper clutch is integrated to protect the drivetrain by preventing excessive wear to the spur gear. Additionally, the transmission is designed for easy removal, simplifying maintenance. Shocks and Suspension

The suspension system is engineered for durability and smooth performance on tough trails. It features pre-assembled aluminum GTS coilover shocks, designed exclusively for the TRX-4 chassis. These shocks have anodized, threaded aluminum bodies with adjustable collars, allowing for easy ride height tuning. Their silky-smooth damping, aided by an O-ring cap seal and dual X-ring shaft seals, ensures consistent performance, and they come pre-filled with shock oil for convenience. The front suspension utilizes a 3-link setup with a panhard bar for stability and precise steering, while the rear features a triangulated 4-link design for optimal articulation and traction. Heavy-duty rod ends with hollow steel balls combined with five-millimeter steel link rods featuring four-millimeter threaded ends provide exceptional strength and durability, making the system highly capable of handling extreme off-road conditions.
