Electrical transformers of all sizes are used by power companies, at heavy industries and at any other business or industry that requires plenty of electrical power. This kit features a tall metal structure with truck dock and railcar doors, plus a roof-mounted cooling system; a brick office building, a large overhead crane for loading and unloading, a transformer load (perfect for WalthersMainline depressed-center flatcars, sold separately); an electrical substation and chain-link fencing for the substation. This versatile kit makes a great addition to contemporary layouts as-is, but you may decide to use it as a metal fabrication business, steel coil pickling operation or as part of a larger industrial complex.
