Based on the popular FP7 diesel, this A unit was four feet linger than a conventional to accommodate a steam generator and boiler. The F7B booster in this set is typical of the units that operated on many passenger and freight runs. Each features a heavy die cast metal chassis, smooth dual-flywheel drive, all-wheel electrical pickup, a factory-installed TCS DCC decoder and Kato magnetic knuckle couplers.
